There are two types of western male Otaku in the world.
Those who are annoyingly macho and fight over sleeping with Bulma or Misty.
And the others who are 20 and decide which Luckey Star/Haruhi gal to go on a date with.
I think you are the first.

@jddeitz2000 Don't like it, don't watch it. Simple as that. At least I've dated real women. And besides who are you to say what I should and should not review? So according to your logic I have to to be socially incompetent, live in my basement, mooch off my parents, and masturbate to ero games to be a true anime fan? Wow, I pity you. Since you're such an expert in everything anime, why don't you review? Because apparently you have enough time to act like a whiny bitch on the internet.

Lucky star is a series you'll either hate or love. I for one like the series, but i'm not crazy about. The series grew on me, and i came to enjoy it. Slice of Life series are ones that take me away from the serious dramatic plots from other animes i watch.

Didn't this anime also reference Pokemon and Higurashi?

The funny thing is, Sienfeld is Funny. Always funny. lucky star to me is pretty pretentious.

the only think I dont like about Lucky Star's design is the Eyes.

I really agree with your review , I really don't find it that bad nor that good its ok at best but I still enjoyed it, I actually used to hate lucky star only from what I had heard and some clips I had seen but when I finally gave it a chance I enjoyed it but at the same time it didn't make me laugh as much as much as some other anime have its just ok.

I really like the show for its lighthearted and cute style. I like to watch/listen to it, while doing homework or surfing around the net. You don't have to give all your attention to it, and there is nothing to miss, as there is no main plot. Its a nice break from other more serious content.

This anime definitely took a while to get into, first ten minutes of ep 1 was spent discussing how to eat a chocolate cornet. I personally don't like the lucky channel bit at the end.

I literally almost quit anime and manga over how dissapointed i was with the ending GOD FUCKING DISSAPOINTING!!!!!!!!!!!
To be fair with the story, since it was originally a 4Koma (or so I've heard), I pretty much treated the show like reading a daily newspaper comic which made the story much more tolerable. Also, I'm a huge fan of Tomokazu Seki, so the anime store manager sequences were entertaining.

My verdict? As an Anti-Otaku, I find the cute factor gets creepy after the first five seconds. I also find the stories to be bland, the characters uninteresting, the references confusing, and the humour too bland to seriously like. It does have a "so bad it's good" value, as I found it's easy to make ironic jokes about it. Overall, 0/10. It's no Cowboy Bebop.

@TeamRocketReviews Well a show doesn't have to be cowboy bebop to be good, but I understand where you're coming from.
