can i suggest that you add the potatoes at the start of cooking with the chicken? This way the sauce can be thickened by the potatoes. Love the vid

Your video is great for a first timer. Compared to the other Jamaican Cooking videos, your curry chicken looks very authentic. I was taught how to cook it by my Jamaican friend when I lived in Atlanta. I will cook it for my husband when he comes back from Iraq next week.

This is crazy unbelievable! I made this a few weeks ago (I'm not Jamaican, just a decent cook) and I think I actually did everything right! I'm looking at this recipe and thinking- "Wow, I really knew what I was doing!" LOL Looks so yummy! I think I'll be making round 2 tomorrow!

No. You can use a whole chicken, drumsticks or whatever you feel comfortable using. For this video I used chicken thighs because they are easier to cut and de-skin (if that is even a word).
