4-36 Lost Sacred Precincts (Halidom), Final Fantasy Tactics
---
Battle Map 68, Lost Sacred Precincts (Lost Halidom - Barich's Revenge).
[Journeying towards the flash of light he believes to be Folmarv and his
sister, Ramza is yet again met with a Templarate, Barich and a horde of
fiends.]
Barich: Truly, it is a joy that we should chance to meet again. I once
suffered defeat at your hands, but it will not happen twice. This dead city
will be your final resting place!
[Barich and his minions are certainly formidable.]
Ramza: So you've become the pawn of the Lucavi, too. Was such your fear of death, that you would sooner bend your knee to demons?
Barich: You are a naive child who speaks of things he does not understand.
Only now am I made truly human!
Ramza: How does selling your soul to demons make you human?
Barich: I stand above all other men now. I have transcended death itself! No
longer must I bow my head in coy attempts to curry favor with you highborn
nobles! I've bouth my freedom. I am a human at last - no longer something less!
Ramza: You think freedom a thing bought and sold? What value, a freedom you
have not earned? A man who's lost his pride can never be free. You surrendered
your own freedom the moment you bowed your head to someone undeserving!
Freedom and equality cannot be bartered. They are rights - rights earned with
sweat, and toil, and blood! Freedom is no raiment of Lucavi weave! They tell
you you wear cloth of gold, but in truth you stand more naked as before!
[But Ramza is determined, and Barich falls once again by his hand.]
Barich: How can I die...? I thought I had...transcended...
Ramza: The Stones resonate. We draw near.
Team: Mr. Ramza/Summoner, Ayane/Knight, Howl/Chemist, Mustadio/Samurai, Agrias/Dancer
Final Fantasy Tactics (ファイナルファンタジータクティクス, Fainaru Fantajī Takutikusu?) is a tactical role-playing game developed and published by Square (now Square Enix) for the Sony PlayStation video game console. It was released in Japan in June 1997 and in the United States in January 1998. The game combines thematic elements of the Final Fantasy video game series with a game engine and battle system unlike those previously seen in the franchise. In contrast to other 32-bit era Final Fantasy titles, Final Fantasy Tactics uses a 3D, isometric, rotatable playing field, with bitmap sprite characters.
The game is set in a fictional kingdom called Ivalice, which has just ended its war with neighboring kingdom of Ordalia. The story follows Ramza Beoulve, a young cadet who finds himself thrust into the middle of a conflict, where two noble factions are coveting the throne of the kingdom. While the war was caused by a conflict of succession, Ramza was exposed to a plot that involved the kingdom's dominant religious organization.
Final Fantasy Tactics saw several re-releases. Final Fantasy Tactics was re-released as part of the Square's Millennium Collection. This series of games was only released in Japan, and each title is bundled with a set of related merchandise. Final Fantasy Tactics was released on June 29, 2000 along with titles such as Saga Frontier, Saga Frontier 2, Brave Fencer Musashi, Front Mission 3, Ehrgeiz and Legend of Mana.
Four years after its release in 1997, Final Fantasy Tactics was selected as part of the Sony Greatest Hits line of rereleases.[89] Games released as Sony Greatest Hits were sold at a lower price. Final Fantasy Tactics also became part of Square Enix Ultimate Hits; selected PlayStation and PlayStation 2 titles, which include games such as Vagrant Story, that are sold at discounted prices and are only available in Japan.

What? More Barich? Am I the only one here that's sick and tired of him and his mad gunslinger skillz? -_-;
Barich the machinist and his horde of mindless hydras and chemist, who at end game STILL uses pathetic potions to heal himself.
I like the twisted bridge in the lower part of the map, gives a distorted image of the battle field along with those roots/fissures around the map.
Yes! Barich is finally dead!

Ramza doesn't mess around, he's really good seeing through his enemies for the scums they really are. So many times we hear some many bad guys say all that bullcrap, esp when we found out their past and they horrible decisions they've made now in the future. But in the end those villains, despite their motives, ends up getting a faceful of pwnage. Times like these, I wish I can intervene and say that to their faces.
