I can't hear the sample when i slice it for some reason

question...whats the point of moving the tweaked midi track back into an audio track? Is there a specific reason?

@StephenSuttieHouse When you open Ableton (I am using Version 8 as this is V7) you will see some round buttons to the top left of the screen . On Mouse Over the ones you need - should say File Browser 1 or 2 or 3 .. clicking on any of those ones enables Ableton to browse your hard drive - look for the MP3 and then click and drag into an Audio track.
