Magnificent colour quality as broadcast, though your recording doesn't do just to that. Quaint to see John Henshall's special effects lenses in use! Read the background to this lost vid being rediscovered at my blog Shapersofthe80s dotcom - and Wendy Kirby's account of appearing in the studio as one of Bowie's friends who went to TV Centre to lend moral support. She'd never seen it before tonight and didn't know she was in it.
