This series documents the Church's efforts to consolidate its power by stamping out heterodoxy and heresy through the office of the Inquisition. The history of the Inquisition is traced across different periods and geographies, from medieval France to its present day incarnation as the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.

  • That woman at 6min is beautiful. She has a face with features that would look good on a woman and a man.

     Off topic? Perhaps

  • Not entirely; I appreciate your aesthetic vision and share it. :)

  • What nonsense.

The Inquisition was about rousting Jews from their nesting places, places they subverted by infiltration, like tax collecton, government, and financing Muslim war parties.

Just like the nonsense we get from them about the Crusades.

“The Crusades were in every way a defensive war.

They were the West’s belated response to the Muslim conquest of fully two-thirds of the Christian world.' -Thomas Madden

O well, if we cant trust Jews to give us our history,Who can we trust?

  • Long live the one true Holy Roman Catholic Church!!!!

  • @estesoyojajaja Protestants didn't make up the majority of europe, the simple fact they hated Rome doesn't prove they faked the inquisition. If they made it up, there would be enough catholics to dispute the claim. Also, the vatican records mention the inquisition. As I said, even the pope wouldn't deny the inquisition. Also, how is it that most of academia believes what you claim is untrue- are they also slandering the church?

  • @Ebuverthebicepcurler Because all those words come from a time when protestants hated the romans catholic. In a time when protestants were in war with the spanish empire.

  • @estesoyojajaja I didn't say anything about that, I only said the lady I saw at 6min looked good. As for this claim the inquisition was a fake history, I wonder how you come to this idea. The torture devices, the records, etc all fake? I think you would find even the pope would admit to the inquiisition. What makes you doubt the inquisition?

  • @Ebuverthebicepcurler she is just an actress. That does not mean all women were like that during the inquisition period, plus all that stuff we read about it, come mostly from the protestant side and the enemies of the Roman Catholic church and enemies of the spanish empire. That is call La legenda negra de la inquisision, spanish for the black legend of the inquisition.

  • The thing everyone forgets about the Inqusition is that it worked because it was popular. It relied on ordinary people shopping each other to the authorities. Creepy huh?

  • @silentfades : Actually they did, but given what you see here is NOT a true representation of history nor is your idea of participation in Nazi Germany even close to reality, I'm going to assume that all of this is irrelevant anyhow.

  • @altoon001 Do you realizable modern secular government would be against the ten commandments, with it's call to have no god over yahweh?

  • Here's another off topic - poor lamb, hope he didn't hurt it (sure looked like it though) :(
