This upset a lot of people at the time but they all missed the point - it's a critique of all the medical people who claim that too much/too little of anything gives you cancer. Conflicting self serving advice from quacks. Good on ya JJ!

The whole song is happy, but the part of 'there's no cure, there's no awnser' is quite, sad,it goes better with the subject of the song,do you agree?

Guess you could say so, it would have been too upbeat if it wasn't for the long jazz solo towards the end.

Sorry for the late reaction but red it just now;-) it,s not ment to be sad. it,s mocking about the fact they say "everything gives you cancer and there,s even nothing you can do about it" wich ofcourse is not true, THAT is the point.just live your live and don,t be afraid too, or you better lay down before you fall, you must see it in that context;-)

i had the weirdest experience ; in '84 i went to joe's concert in Rotterdam , spotted the tv cameras while there and a couple of months later while on the other side of the world in new zealand , visiting some friends on a sunday night and the program ''radio with pictures'' came on ; believe it or not but the whole concert where i was at was shown : )
that was freaky , i tell ya !

Haha, funny story! This concert was filmed too, wonder if the footage will ever see the light of day. You're gonna catch him on the upcoming tour early next year?

Guess it did (some of it atleast, on the Rain DVD)! Would love to see a new full length JJ live DVD. I still haven't seen the one for Night and Day II but I keep hearing it's rubbish. I own Laughter and Lust and Tokyo though, and those are pretty great!
