that's nothing, I got the same CPU on 3.3, been on 3.4 With much lower temps ^^

Ùhh... dude. Just raise the damn multiplier in the BIOS. =/ Way easier than OCing FSB. OCing FSB generates more heat. I run 3,3Ghz with my 9950 on stock cooler (34 idle - 58 stressed).

What kinda cooling you using? I applaud you for taking up the task of overclocking an AMD. I have a 5200+ Athlon and can't get it over 3.1, and it's not due to heat... Stupid processor will not go any higher without failure at anything above 3.1. Could be my cheap board, could be my processor...

yea, its hard to get up there cause of heat. I am in the process right now. I just added another fan to my system, so I am giving it a shot now

yea I just hit 72c running Cinebench 10 at 3.1Ghz...Computer still ran...I have no idea how...but yea. Heat is my issue as of right now

because I already had an AM2 board, and it would have been another 200 bucks for an Intel board. But if I could get an affordable board and a cpu that is better then this one. I would do it..If I could sell this stuff lol
