  • La vitamina B12 es de origen bacteriano (la producen bacterias).

  • Según la Vegan Society hay que cumplir uno de los siguientes puntos: (1)consumir alimentos enriquecidos 2 ó 3 veces al día para obtener al menos 3 microgramos(mcg ó ug) de B12 diarios o bien (2)tomar un suplemento de B12 diario que proporcione al menos 10 microgramos o bien (3)tomar un suplemento de B12 semanal que proporcione al menos 2000 microgramos.
