i know not a soul is gonna believe me. but A: persigner is not the first man to figure out "the god helmet". it was independent scientist william chapel. he started working on it in the early 2000's. and B: believe it or not i've actually used the god helmet back in 2007. Chapel was at a paranormal event my mother was in and i had the chance to use it. though i wouldn't say it provoked psychic abilities i can swear on my grandfather's grave afterward's i saw someone who wasn't there.

@PartyBeliever This is ridiculous. Passion is not a result of mystery.
-
@rohiller you should learn more about how the institution of science functions.
-
@ThisIsUngood Perhaps through funding? Just a hunch, but following the money is always a good idea.

@HumanSayNo hahahaha. The "ruling elite" don't control science, nor do they have a means to. How do you think this would occur?

@ThisIsUngood - I see.
Persingner gets a raw deal! He's clearly a bright neuroscientist with respectable credentials who's been doing solid, sound research on not only in neuroscience, but parapsychology as well. In addition, I commend him for taking parapsychology seriously simply b/c it's a field full of knee-jerk reactions, derisions, & pseudo-skepticism by narrow minded bigots with condescending, imprudent agendas. His inference may be wrong, but honest skeptics admit the data exist and warrants further research.

All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident. ~Authur Schopenhauer~(1788-1860)
If knowledge can create problems, it is not through ignorance that we can solve them.~Isaac Asimov~(1920-1992)
It is impossible to make people understand their ignorance; for it requires knowledge to perceive it and therefore he that can perceive it hath it not. ~Jeremy Tayor~(1613-1667)
