how do you know the chosen ones? no greater love hath a man then he lay down his life for his brother.not for millions not for glory not for fame for one person in the dark where no one will ever know or see. Great speach on the power of selflessness.

spectacular writing. Unsurpassed to this day. Babylon 5 will NEVER be beaten for this. Each season it got stronger. No way in hell is BattleStar Galactica up to this level of writing.

@ElegantPaws01 JMS never badmouthed the new BSG and we don't have to either. Babylon 5 was a space opera about the nature of being and BSG was a military survival epic commenting about current events; it's like comparing Walking Dead and The Shield.

@jack16031 I don't disagree it's more powerful coming from the "knowing" position, but wouldn't it be better if we did not have to resort to ironic juxtaposition to get the message across. We have so many instances of ethical lapses that are not addressed, I find much more the "banality of evil" is it has been called is alot more prevalent than other forms.

@proadmin1 - on the contrary, what a message by choosing this messenger - to transport a message through Jack the Ripper means a lot. The evil understands better than any other, even those supposed to be good, what a virtue really is.

@thrawn323 Too bad such a great message is delivered by one of England's more notorious psychopaths

BSG, star trek, SeaQuest, Andromeda Ascendant, Space: Above and Beyond, none of these remotely comes close. And if you compare most sci fi shows of late, you'll find that more and more of them are trying to follow in JMS' footsteps in terms of story telling.

That's a load of crock and I despise anyone who thinks that is true.

The needs of the many are just as important as the needs of the few.

Damn those are some profound words.
How the fuck could you cut this scene short? Sorry about the language, but, unacceptable! The whole episode culminates with this scene, and you cut it short! Right, caersar...remembered only as Jack, and you cut it short? Unbelievable!

I know, I try to put longer scenes on but they do not get accepted
