A brief video demonstrating the startup and shutdown sequence and some of the available function key sounds on my custom class 37 project. Featured are the compressor, brake release, driver's door slam, spirax valves and playable high and low horns. Not shown are buffering up (F4), flange squeal (F9) and despatch whistle (F10).

  • Well spotted that man! I've got several class 37 sound projects but only this pair of locos to try them out in. I'll video the 37/4 project next time.

  • Let me know when I can buy one of these sound decoders as the cost of SWT etc is way to much

  • This sounds superb. By far the best DCC 37 I've heard so far. The only comment I would make is the start-up, which your recording is from a 37/0, but for this loco should be from a 37/4 or 37/7 with the later startup motor (or do you have this planned?)
