How do school districts create high performance cultures that significantly improve student achievement?
This engaging and lively presentation identifies the key leadership and management behaviors of successful companies, school districts, and organizations that consistently grow and progress—even in tough economic, political, and social periods. Learn how to create the conditions in your school districts to grow and thrive.
The value of the FUEL for Learning workshop:
Board Members, school administrators, and teachers learn to create the conditions that yield greater impact from their school and district improvement programs—and ultimately increase student achievement.
The FUEL that participants learn is:
Focus
Urgency
Energy & Enthusiasm
Learning from successes
This powerful content is unique in that it is developed from Ray's corporate experience at GE and his years as a school superintendent. Ray also draws on his training in Improv Comedy and Writing at Chicago's Second City Theater and his experience performing stand-up comedy to make the presentation an enjoyable, lively, entertaining, and meaningful experience.
Ray believes that if you are seated in a presentation, then you are using the wrong muscles! In order to learn, grow, and have fun, all participants must learn content, participate in fun activities that illustrate the concepts, be personally involved in the process, discuss and learn from each other and the whole group, and network with the other participants.
The instructional method is a balance of content presentation, case studies, Improv comedy games, discussion, play, and sharing—all in a highly energized environment. When was the last time you saw conference participants smiling, laughing, moving—and some even dancing—while learning powerful content that can be immediately applied back home? This is how participants in Ray's speeches respond to his message and approach!
The length of the presentation can range between a 45 minute keynote speech to a three hour workshop depending on the needs of your group. A longer workshop format is also available.

Ray,
This approach is fantastic. I love the focus on discipline and action. You really give people a way to catologue the very best suggestions they come up with. More importantly than that is that people walk away with a very step by step plan for ensuring execution which will create meaningful change. Keep up the great work.
See you in the stairwell
