Hi great video, sadly just lost my boy(weimeraner) I'm heartbroken, I loved to jogg with him. Hoping to get a RR they are beautiful dogs doing lots of research for now.

How did you train your RR to stay with you and on the trail? My fiance and I are getting one in Decemeber and I want to eventually trust him without the leash when we run together and go on hikes. Any tips/advice in training?

@somuchbeautyindirt3: I would say a lot of obdiencetraining with focus on the commands "stop" "stay near" or what you want o call it, but a commando that tells him/her to stay close. If your out and running. Don´t follow him, let him follow you. Change way often so he has to focus where your going. Run out in the woods, hide and so on. Good luck with your RR, theyre amazing :)
