@superkrex Half of it was luck yes, but if he wouldn't or rallied his men and pushed back he would of been killed and Egypt would of been destroyed, Ramsses may have been cocky but he knew how to win a fight

I have an explanation for the decision of not sending all infantry to kill Ramses. putting myself in the Hitite lider's shoes, maybe I wasn't aware of the infantry up on the coast and the one was left behind. Ramses scattered army fell to his favor because I could not see it all. Maybe I only consider the army where Ramses was, so I am not going to sacrifice a lot of soldiers. I might just surround them. oops, another infantry was behind? get it?
