@gmenfan48 d) Don't kid yourself for a minute...if his lawyer could figure out a way to worm out of his contract and if Chizik had to take a fall, he'd be crying "WAR EAGLE" faster than he takes a cab out of Atlanta.
e) Mike Zimmer (a man not on Blank's payroll anymore, and who lost his wife prematurely and thus has the grand scheme of life in perspective) put it best: "He's a gutless bastard. Quote that."
Hell of a playcaller in JAX, though. And a perfect coach for college.

@gmenfan48 c (contd)) Petrino, on the other hand, shook Blank's hand and said "you have yourself a coach" when he KNEW HE WAS LEAVING. Didn't tell a single member of the staff until he had 15 minutes to make a getaway and had no balls to tell a single player face-to-face. (and spare me the "they were punks" nonsense, not all of them were and a REAL MAN doesn't spare the good players of the news face-to-face just because Deangelo Hall's a jerkwad).
Not about him leaving, it's about HOW.

@gmenfan48 c (contd)) ARK fans (bitter the world sees this guy for the weasel he is) throw out this "Blank-ESPN-Home Depot" conspiracy nonsense or say "hey, Blank fired Reeves...same thing." NOT the same thing. Blank MANNED UP, went to Reeves and said "you're not coming back next year, you're welcome to finish 2003 but I'm not going to MISLEAD YOU. Reeves chose to leave.
