Dolly Parton performing 'Son of a Preacher Man' and playing the saxophone on her 'Better Day World Tour'. This was a real crowd pleaser and quite a treat. She has never recorded this song, and to my knowledge, has never performed it on previous tours. Loved her rendition! Enjoy!!

@bandguy0311 Exactly, now I love Dolly but I play the saxophone (Alto, Tenor, and Bari) and that's definately a soprano saxophone that she is holding but a tenor sax that's being played.

Almost blew me away with that sax! I was sitting right in front of her when she played! So good at the sax too! Imagine being blown away by a saxy lady! ;)

Dolly Parton is a talented singer and songwriter, but the sax sound on the video is from a tenor sax and she is holding a soprano sax. I suppose a musician of her caliber is allowed to do something like this to entertain her audience now and then. Her excellent songwriting and singing is the real deal.

@DollyStreep Hey there. This was a treat, because she has not recorded it for any album. I wish she would though! Her rendition is superb, isn't it! I love it too....

It was supposed to be on her Treasures album as she performed in on Leno and one some show on CMT but when the album was released it wasn't on there. I had read that it could be found at one time on foreign releases but I have not had any luck finding it.
