I just bought the Hcd hs 700k, can't wait. The image is so clean in your video, and thats just in 480p.

@viforata think you just need to practice, simply switching it to manual wont fix it, you need to play with the settings

@robblac I tried both manual and auto. Not such a big difference in this evening indoor light. Manual focus, manual Iris, manual shutter speed, manula wb. What else can I do? It is a small cam, so I do not expect very good low light footage. I'm not surprised, I was expecting at this. I'm looking forward to test it tomorrow in daylight.

@viforata i can only assume you are using it in auto mode. use manual mode.

I just bought the PAL SD700 today. I only reached home at dark. I made some indoor tests with it. In low light it is very bad (lots of noise, lack of colours, lack of resolution/sharpness)... I' gona test it tomorrow in daylight.
Looks excellent quality, here, to me. Thanks for posting this ans 500 more points for saying the settings

I finally made some tests in daylight. What can I say? I can only say: wow, the cam is incredible in daylight! Now I need to buy a robust computer in order to start editing.
For now, I only have an AMD Athlon 64x2 Dual Core 1.8 GHz, 751 Mb Nvidia Geforce 7000M, 2gb ddr2.
