Today was my first day on acctutane! This video was really helpful :) Seeing as it's my first day, i'm clearly haven't had and results or side effect yet, but was just wondering when you first started noticing a difference in your skin and started having some of of side effects.

@ljmxo Congrats! I first started noticing the dry skin and lips within 3 weeks. My skin broke out pretty bad in the first month, which was really frustrating. Now I am on my last month (month 6) and I could not be more thrilled! I have a video posted on this channel about my progress, so please check it out!

I found amazing success with Aquaphor ointment on my lips during Accutane! It is absolutely the best for hydrating and was dermatologist recommended!

@caleighbc that's weird because if you get pregnant you will have to terminate the pregnancy because of sever birth defects. You are supposed to chose two forms of birth control (abstinence, condoms, bc pills, etc.)

Hey! I just started accutane 9 days ago, so far im noticing the dry lips but thats pretty much it. I haven't broken out terribly yet which is nice. Im a 19yr old female but my doctor told me I don't HAVE to be on any birth control so Im super surprise that you said you have to be on two! plus I was wondering (if your open to letting me know) how much it cost, just in comparison.

you and i were in a very similar situation! i had terrible acne and literally took every type of acen treatment but nothing worked. i took acutane in eighth grade but since i was so young, it didn't work completely and i had to do another six months on acutane. I have been done with acutane for about four months now and my skin is amazing! I hope it works for you because the results are great :)oh by the way i love your videos and your gorgeous!
