Living Sufism

If among contemporary Muslims there are two extremes, they are on the one hand the fundamentalist Islamists of which we hear mostly nowadays and on the other hand the broad-minded, tolerant and non-violent Sufis.
Sufi tradition has an important cultural component, especially in poetry and music. The photos show the rituals of some representative Sufi groups in the Balkans and the Middle East. Taken together they give as accurate an impression as possible of Sufi ritual, with its enormous variety in discipline and exuberance, intellectualism and spontaneity. In accompanying texts he explores what lies behind the riuals, and explains aspects of Sufi life and practice such as the position of women.

The basic reasoning behind this is CONTROL, if you are a free loving spirit you begin to think different and become more optimistic and compassionate. Literally there will be a spark of love inside of you, Love, Peace and Tolerance.

Auwalia or Wali means friend of God, we are Sufis. Do not fear God...LOVE AND RESPECT HIM.

Why would you do something that was never mentioned nor taught by the Messenger of Allaah Sal lal lahu alaihi wa sallam and yet you don't do what he asked. If you did all that was prescribed you would not have time to invent new things to this religon. Allaah The Most High Says in The Quraan To His Messenger Say" If You Love Allaah Then Follow Me Allaah Will Love You And Forgive you Your Sins" Yet we folow things that have no basis in the religon .
