J'ai voyagé sur le joola, un Joola plein plein plein a CRAQUER... la cale du bateau ? il y avait de tout, des planches, des caisses, des sacs, le pont etait jonché de bagages, les membres de l'equipage etaient invisibles et a cause des vieux moteurs impossible de fermer les yeux car on a l'impression de coucher dans la salle des machines. Enfin, je garde un souvenir extraordinaire et très émouvant de ce bateau. "Yallah mokko doggal ni" (Dieu en a ainsi décidé)

Le Joola was a handsome little ship. It's terrifying that some have such a complete disregard for human life.

I am not senegalese but I was very saddened by the sinking of that ship. I am sorry for the victims of the Le Joola and their families.
