  • Very interesting. Thank you for posting this video. That bridge is amazing. Is it near the Kinzua Dam? I have read about UFO sitings in that area. And Big Foot.

  • Yes, the Kinzua Dam is about 20 miles away from the bridge.

  • Is there any hiking in area? i've checked with DCNR, but they were highly vague...

  • Thanks for posting this video, the song goes great to it. Born in Bradford, Pa, the bridge will be a memory to everyone. I took a ride on the steam engine number 58 with the family when I was five years old.

To marshalljimduncan....."there have been reports saying people have committed suicide off of that bridge"

  • Has anyone ever jumped off of it?

  • Very nicely done. I like your choice of music as well. Thank you for posting.

  • I have a camp on Smethport-Ormsby Road and every time I drive to the cabin, I'm always sad about the great piece of PA history laving in the creek.

  • Very good video. We used to go to visit the Kinzua Bridge and Dam every year when I was a child. I had not been there for several years and my wife and I stayed in Kane in 1987 when they first started the excursion trips to the bridge. I visited it again a few years ago. It is sad it is gone.

  • Rode the steam engine over this bridge back in the 90's. I have some great pictures taken from the bridge. The train stopped on the other side and allowed people to disembark and walk out on the bridge.

  • Wonderful video.... thanks so much for sharing the info and story. I also love both songs you used to carry the emotion. I'm not sure what that second song was, and I'd love to add it to my library! What was it?

    Thanks again,

    -Rails
