Chevy Camaro SS Indy 500 Pace Car Drive

I'm driving the Indianapolis 500 pace car and not, even for a second, endangering the life of three-time Indy 500 winner and American hero Johnny Rutherford.

We have it on good authority that Dempsey, an actor with a lovely mane and a penchant for motor racing, allegedly came into the pits a little hot when he paced the 500 in 2007 in a Corvette, allegedly forcing Mr. Rutherford, who was standing at the end of pit lane, to allegedly begin scrambling over an alleged concrete barrier.

My relative success is partly because Mr. Rutherford is relaxing in the comfort of his home while I'm running the silver-and-red 2010 Camaro SS pace car at the Brickyard. Even on my worst days behind the wheel, I rarely pose a threat to people not in close proximity. Also, it's true that I'm driving the pace car on a rainy Thursday morning several weeks before the race so I don't have 33 amped-up racecar drivers behind me, itching to unleash more than 20,000 horsepower. Nor do I have hundreds of thousands of spectators watching me.

Still, I have to be one up on rich and handsome Dempsey in some way, and my coif ain't doing the trick.

corvettes aren't supercharged dumbass,get your shit together(the zr1 just started recently and wasnt before because it had a sick 32 valve engine)the camaro as usual,looks better,goes faster costs less,its been going on since 1967,ive owned 4 rustang killers myself and loved every one of them(i like the old stangs 1967-1969)the new ones are decent too,but the camaro is back for the attack,hahaha bowtie baby yeh!!!!

First off both stock Corvette and ZO6 are not supercharged only the ZR-1 has one. But your comparing Camaro vs Mustang from the factory (not special made cars like Shelby) the Camaro SS comes with 426hp while the Stang puts out 315hp so theres and easy dominating win by the Camaro. The Shelby has 540hp but also weighs 331lbs more then a stock GT and with that only beats the stock Camaro by 0.01 in a quarter. But it dominates on the price $10925 more for a base Shelby then a fulley loaded Camaro

@ADD8oi you are a dumb ass would love to still see a 1965 frod truck or car still driving around that hasnt been restored two or three times chevy/gm still has many camaros firebirds and manny trucks still around from the 60's 70's and 80's how many fords do you see like that around and fuck worldwide stats drive a chevy compared to a ford and you can tell the difference there is no comparison GM is so much better sweat heart :)

@ADD8oi i have to say, you using the word tool makes you seem homosexual, but thats beside the fact. ford sucks. drive a stock ford and a stock chevy anything and tell me ford is better. ive driven both, and ive also never seen a non diesel ford with over 200k miles that doesnt shit out, ive seen quite a few 250+ gms that still run strong

@ADD8oi THe Camaro is not bad and Ford's built quality is similar to Chevrolet's. Most chevy cars are Korean built and of course they're shit. Overall, US cars are miles behind German cars when it comes to quality and performance. BUT cars like Mustangs and Camaros do give you the bang for your buck.
