The downtown landscape has changed so much over the past 10-15 yrs, it's unbelievable......the new Capital Pointe building will be very flashy IMHO, and not fit it well.....but we'll see I guess....I would like to know who will be able to afford to live there?

The old hotels either go upscale and posh so they're no fan anymore, or they get replaced with the overpriced lockers that are condos... Give me a trailer in the Yukon away from that crap any day!

Well, if they were going to replace a beloved landmark, at least they did it right. The plan of that new building looks truly awesome! Not like what they did here in Baltimore, in tearing down our beloved Memorial Stadium, every salvageable bit of it! - so to make room for ... an old folks home?
