This arrangement was written as a gift for John Scarpulla upon the completion of the Souled Out tour with Tower of Power. It was presented to him in an envelope with a large red ribbon, on stage at The Brokerage, the long-time home of The Funk Filharmonik's "Last Thursday of the Month" gig, on Long Island's south shore. This performance was "Funksgiving 24" at The Elks' Lodge, Huntington, NY, 11/27/09.
