anyone who claims to be an "expert" on something like 2012, be suspicious of their information. The people in this world right now haven't experienced a 2012 transition event like this before, so no one can be an expert unless they have witnessed it first hand. He may know a lot of information about the subject, but then so do I ....but I don't ever claim to be an "expert" on anything.

Geoff Stray talks about 2012 as a matter of consciousness expansion into another realm rather than just massive cataclysmic events, but he doesn't discount the cataclysmic events as not happening. Those events will push our awareness into another realm after a period of darkness. I have read that the period of darkness will be absolute (no stars or sun or any light) and it will last 3 days (72 hours).

Anyone claiming the Hopi have a 2012 prophecy is a liar. The Hopi bar discussion of their beliefs with outsiders precisely because outsiders keep lying about them, and then idiots show up in Hopiland and disrupt ceremonies and defile sacred sites. Leave the Hopi alone, that's what they want.

@edgarcaycetv People who are utterly ignorant about Mayas, Natives, or history call him an "expert." He's basically playing both sides of the field, peddling a hoax but also debunking other hoaxers to not look like one himself.

@DeejayLarz2006 Stray doesnt actually lay down any plans, in his book for example he simply tells it how it is with the predictions,prophecies,myths,f­ables etcothers have made,...one can take it or leave it, and he certainly doesnt advocate the end of humanity either - he just reports the info - the best book ive seen on 2012,and no im not getting paid even tho hes my myspace and facebook friend
