Quote from Bryan Massingham from MRVR:
"We discovered this choir by accident when they were practising for the Christmas concert (being Christian!!) when visiting the village with a school group as part of an economic development study.
They gladly accepted out invitation to come to perform at the resort on Christmas Day 2009...and since then have returned 8 times. The funds raised are used in the village and being one of the poorest Lahu (hilltribe) settlements in the area, such money has been gratefully received."
they just look like the kadazan dusun tribes in north borneo sabah malaysia.... they resemble the faces, costumes, music instruments just like those in sabah.. i believe the kadazandusun are close long lost tribe relatives with the lahu people in north thailand, to lahu friends u may go thru youtube videos and look for kadazandusun tribe.
