I am looking forward to the time when scientists finally accept that there is a link between the spiritual and their science. Everything is interconnected, therefore everything we know must be cognizant and cohesive. Scientists....keep working on it! I and many hundreds of other's' have had profound spiritual experiences...mine is on google (VV'S NDE) The Dalai Lama has also produced an audio book read by Richard Gear on this subject...maybe we are in a matrix.......

there is No need for evidence when he is referring to evidence that something outside the domain of current scientific confines are occurring on a daily basis. The first step to discovery is dialogue. He was very brave and articulate in his relation of events that confound science. God Bless him

Advaita of Hindu texts says that there are four stages of consciousness.

1) Deep sleep (dream) state where it is conscious enough to wake up when called by name. It doesnt have mind and body experience.

2) Dream state experiencing mind's projection of dream

3) Mind's projection of another dream but this time produced by more information from senses.

4) Turia (the 4th state) which is fully aware. This is the state after death.

Yep was just pure awareness, but that being said it convinced me it in entirely within the brain. I do follow what iands and people like Dr.BruceGreyson are trying to do but I just think we have a premature understanding of what brain death is, not non-local consciousness existing. oh and btw and anybody who puts non-local in to google and gets the quantum mechanical interpretation (which I read quite often) they are entangled its the same particle through a dimension we cant see in 3d

I've had an OBE through meditation, and then an OBE through a near-death experience (I was hit by a car and I blacked out [when I say black out I wasn't on the road anymore when I was lifted from my body but in the hospital, so there was an amount of time where I was unconscious]) and it was quite different.. the lucidity of the OBE in the hospital was more than anything I could have imagined. I didn't feel anything, not the regular five senses. All I could do was think and interpret it.

theres a concept called the "insanity box" which is a box u step into and it allows u to disconnect from you body and see reality as it is, instead of through your normal 5 senses. and it is said that if you do this and you come back into your body you become insane because you've experienced a lot more that any living organism should have. Idk if this is where that came from but its a pretty interesting idea.
