Keep it up dude! Is that your first drum set? Ive been saving money for td 9kx for like a year now... I mean, it´s a pretty luxury set to start from.... But good thing is, you don´t have to buy a new one soon, maybe never :D I have a crappy millenium electric drum set now, and it really pisses me off.

I got one too. . Its great! But the snare sounds like crap . . But its easy to fix. . Just choose another one and tune it up a bit . . Then its all good!!

my first kit was a old 1960's Premium Royal drum kit the shells was painted red and i had zyn cymbals that looked like they was made in the 1700's i give that kit away to a kid down the road who was poor.
good luck with your drum playing.

if that is your first kit then you should have bought the TD-4

No tienes buen tempo... pero la calidad se logra con la practica y el estudio, sigue asi tu que tienes la posiblidad de hacerlos. Saludos y seguire tus proximos pasos.
Great start man. Just amazing!
What can i say...: "It´s not too late, never too late",
like Phil`s song says.
Just play as much as you can, enjoy playing, trying to be tight like TheMysticbeat says..., and the rest will come.
I`ve subscribed to your channel to see your progress.
Keep it up.
Cheers from a new drummer.

I wish I could upload more videos to YouTube but they all get rejected because of potential copyright issues. That's because I play to playback which has to be audible for the listener (my drumming alone doesn't sound very well).
However, I learned lots of new songs. The one I'm most proud of is "Next Year" by the Foo Fighters. It's currently the most ambitious & difficult track for me but I'm quite there. ;-)
Any advice on how I can twist the sound to fool YouTubes detection algorithm?

Your right hand timing is excellent for a beginner. Spend some serious time on bass pedal rudiments & counting. Fills and solos mean nothing if you can't drop right back into the groove!

Hey, thanks a lot for your helpful comments! :-)
Meanwhile, I made progress. In my drum lessons I learned to play "Something happened on the way to heaven" from Phil Collins, "Mad about you" from Toto and "Geile Zeit" from Juli (german band).
I'm studying "Next year" from the Foo Fighters for several weeks now, it's really complicated (for me).
I'd REALLY like to show you something here but YouTube forbids to upload my videos because of copyright violations. If anybody has any hint for me ... ;)

He Stefan,
thats some serious talent you got there if this is your first experience on drums. My advice is the same as phallus, keep it simple, be tight, no use of all sorts of solo´s and stuff if you cant keep it tight. Relax and have fun, then it will all work out fine for ya.
So I say, Enjoy Stefan.
cheers

Thank you so much for your kind words!
Meanwhile I made a lot of progress. I really wish I could show here but YouTube doesn't accept my uploads with playback anymore because of copyright issues. :-(
