"What a difference a day makes" and audience too!!! We just posted the same piece by Albeniz which Enzo played during practice a day before this recital .... and the difference is so clear to see and hear. We are happy with the final result of the "EVOCACION". We hope you agree.
This was Enzo's encore piece during a performance sponsored by the Manila Chamber Orchestra Foundation on March 3, 2011 held at the Filipinas Heritage Library..
Evocacion (evocation in English), from the Latin "evocare", to call forth. It is the act of calling forth, especially memories. Albeniz wrote this piece and called it appropriately "Evocacion", for out of the keyboards the interpreter has to "call forth" those romantic, pleasant, sad memories of yester-years. It is remarkable that 15 year old, Enzo, is able to call forth out of the white and black keys such tender and ancient evocations. Just discovered this new version; Exquisite!

You have captured the sensuousness ,mystery, and bitter-sweet pathos of this piece with your beautiful tonal and lyrical charm and good legato, Enzo. You have given substance to the title of this piece. KUDOS! :)

I have the 4CDs of his complete Piano music! You have so absolutely captured the style here (lyrical, sensitive Rubato but not overstated) feels exactly to me like being in a shady spot in Espana and agree entirely with the five stars below!
