this Amv is about Anthy and how far away from the light of day, a normal life and happiness the sun being Utena, and how her actions caused the sun to no longer shine her world became very dim without her, anthy wishes she could take back what she has done, but knows she can't, this is her inner struggle

In the movie, they are lesbo. In the anime, if they are or not, is up for interpretation, but it does not seem to be the case to me. The director of this series was also the director of Sailor Moon. Japanese people are actually quite intelligent and philosophical. The director of the anime did not intend them to be gay. However, alot of fans would enjoy it if they were gay, these two.. cause guess what? Alot of girls out there are lesbos. It is not a gene, but yes, neurological for those girls.
