this is amaaaazing work! I'd like to join AM but I am a bit worried about the pace. Do you recommend it? Also, I am not as good as you, your work is making me nervous about joining, does AM take students regardless if they have little or no background at all?...Your work is awesome!!!
@maryroseabegail Thank you! Your too kind! :) I do recommend AM even if you don't have experience with animation before. The important thing is dedication! You have to commit for the whole 18 months if you wanna take the best out of it. And yes, they take students with zero experience, as long as they're serious about becoming animators! If you don't know the software, they have a Maya Springboard that you can take 6 months before starting the CA program. The whole thing is awesome! :)
WOW! brilliant work. I wanna join AM, but maybe after a few years of working first... your work is incredible. really liked it.. very organic and nice
@puneeth009 Thanks! I'm glad you liked! You should definitely join AM if you really want the best character animation training! It's really an awesome experience! =)
Nicely done man! You working already? And may I ask how did you do for your class assignments? A grade? Cause I wanna know where I stand as an animator too. It seems like you're really good and I'm not really near where you are. So I would like to know how well you did for your assignments. Really appreciate it. Thanks.
@cbwannabieber Thanks man! I'm glad you liked! Well, grades in AM are per week, on your progress, not exactly a grade for the shot as a whole. The same shot can start with a C in the blocking week, than get a B or A in the polishing pass week. It also depends a lot on your mentor. I can say that my grades are not bad. They are around B+ to A- with the occasional A. But don't worry about grades, the important thing is what your mentor says in the critique! Hope it helps! ;)
