★ Cosmogang the Puzzle Arcade (one credit casual run)

The climb was never easy I admit, but with passion and perseverance, nothing like this is impossible.

Other than Cosmogang Video, Namcot also came up with its Puzzle counterpart - a cute anime puzzle game that embraced a very unique and enjoyable style of gameplay.

Not only do you make lines of blocks disappear like in most conventional block games, but also, you get to crush the accompanying evil space creatures with steel balls that come along very now and then in order to get ahead.

This puzzle concept was later copied onto Pac-Attack (where Pacman acts in lieu of the steel ball to eat up his enemies), but I'll think Cosmogang is still a better choice.

There is also a Super Famicom release of both in Japan, but unfortunately this one, for some (probably silly) reason, just didn't make it to the rest of the world.

I play the highest mode for a while to give you an idea of how it works.

**This one I dedicate specially to all Cosmogang lovers.

Oh Columns is fun (I have the game too), but it is just a bit, too simplistic at times.

There was an old handheld game called Swifter that took its concept. Have you played it before?

The cosmo aliens themselves are also enemies in Dig Dug Arrangement in the space world.
