@jaykob85 It is against the gas code to use copper with soldered fittings to convey natural or propane gas, only flare joints are allowed.

im surprised you say to call a plumber for black iron pipe why not just tell everyone to use copper fittings with solder already in them or better yet cpvc or even pex :)
