Just watched the dvd of this, I'm glad I can make my money back by selling it on Amazon. What a total load of rubbish, I understand why it didn't get picked up for a series now.

Well, from the trailer, it looks pretty interesting. I suppose it boils down to what you're expecting. I'll have to check this out and see for myself. I have a feeling I'll actually dig this.

Thank god for Edgar Wright....this is absolute TOSH. I believe Dr. Who and Day of the Triffids/Quatermass Experiment were pretty good....otherwise this is horrible. I mean , its not even tongue-in-cheek.

Not to my knowledge, it's not like Hyperdrive or Red Dwarf. (Well I think the effects and the cast is better than Hyperdrive) It's kinda a cross between "It's a carry on in space meets Star Trek". It's different from the rest and certainly worth watching, I want them to do another season. As I mentioned before it does take time to get going, but Episode 4 hooked it for me and my friends. So if you like the old fashioned carry on style with a mix of drama then give it a shot!

I just saw this in the shop today. I've never heard of it before. It looks OK if not a little generic. It doesn't looks as good as Hyperdrive, which in turn is not as good as Red Dwarf., but then neither of those two started out particularly well. Is it safe to assume this never actually made it to telly then?

I'm sorry to say you'll have to sit through ep2 and 3 (i didn't like them - personally) Only from ep4 that I started to enjoy it... sorry everyone but it's the truth. I saw Starhyke with a bunch of friends and some good wine and it was a great evening in counting how many sci-fi TV shows they touched on. (I know, not a brillant way of watching a show)
