Pr0wnage episode 10-The Mini Debate

Yep, in this video, I was inspired, by AdobePC, to compare a Mac Mini to a Dell Studio Hybrid. In the end, the Studio Hybrid cost $60 less. However, The Mini showed itself to have the better hardware in the Mini-Computer category. MUCH better in the graphics department.

Like I always say, comparing a Mini-PC to a Tower-PC makes about as much sense as having a featherweight boxer fight a heavyweight and still trying to call it an even fight.

@SuperMuddiger Yeah, you know load times have more to do with network speed than computer speed right? At the time, I was on DSL, right now, I'm on FIOS, so my load time is muuuuuch faster.

@SuperMuddiger oh, uh thanks. Well there are lots of Mac Fans/Users that know about computers, but the MVP community is dead right now. It is important to note that the videos that you commented on are really old and I haven't made a new MVP video in a long time.

hey, all I know is that he was talking about the Mac Mini and the focus of his video was Apple.

I think his point was more or less against the form factor than the computer itself, because Dell of course does have slim and mid towers that offer much more performance than the Studio Hybrid.

Many manufacturers have low-end, low-cost computers similar in form factor, but they also offer similarly priced, more powerful "normal" desktops as an option, whereas Apple of course doesn't.

The Studio Hybrid is a POS, though.

well, I complained about the multitouch because the first mouse that I picked for the mini was a magic mous. The second mouse I picked was a regular Apple Mouse

Yeah, the dell may come with MSworks 9, but the mini comes with iLife

I don't have problems with Apple keyboards.
