Christie Stasinopoulou performing "Mu les" ("You Tell Me"), the Greek entry at the 1983 Eurovision Song Contest.

A really nice entry of ours, a gentle and sensitive ballad, that nevertheless was hardly Eurovision material - rather more suitable for our Salonica Song Festival - and therefore went by unnoticed in the strong year that was 1983 (although we did get 12 points from Spain!). At least Christie did make a career in world music, where her albums of (mostly) Mediterranean folk songs have gained great critical acclaim and have been issued in quite a few countries.

And one last sidenote: the conductor is the legendary Mimis Plessas, composer of - literally - dozens of Greek music's classic hits from the 60s to the 80s. His presence here is greatly explained by the fact that the song was written by his son!
