Is Shania a Christian?
Allison Krauss has a magical, light presence in this video. Shania seems a bit on edge or stressed...

@MrJburkeIV Nevertheless, just enjoy this. This IS Shania's song, after all. Plus, she (Shania) gets to perform with Alison and the guys. I would KILL to get the chance to perform with them, no matter who sang lead!

@mjhart123 As others have said it's actually harder to sing the harmony part. And this happens to be a Shania Twain penned song, isn't it?

Thanks for this comment. Its always a special thing to do something TOGETHER, especially music. But whatever it is and whoever is, if it makes yourself and others happy, its just great! Sorry for my english? :-)

When rehearsal time is short, like the "sittin' in" sessions like this, the better musician takes harmony because it's harder to sing. When you perform, the song is the thing, and there is nothing better than making an auditorium come alive with harmony. Look at the smile on Alison's face at the end of the song. That's real.

This is pure magic...

MrJburkeIV Have you ever heard Allison Krauss sing back-up on some of Dolly Parton's live recordings? It's ethereal. She's a heavenly singer, whether as lead or back-up to one of her idols!

alison has a better voice than dolly or shania will ever have

The sound crews at these stupid award shows are useless.
I'm sorry because Shania Twain is awesome, but Alison Krauss should never be the backup singer to anyone. I had hoped that at best they would alternate singing, but Alison singing backup... that is just wrong. On a side note, just how flexible is that woman??? I've never seen anyone sit indian style on a stool.
