Thanks a lot mate. I have succesfully moved from AO1 on Windows 2003. then went to A05. I followed your tutorial on WM5 and installed it. Went without a cinch. I then went to upgrade to WM 6.5 Classic on this and everything works Wifi etc. Perfect job. Thanks for this video. Now to figure out all the fun things I can do on the Axim that I had never used before. Good toy for the kids.

Thanks very much for responding! I flashed to 5COB ROM & it's fine. Still can't connect to router with wpa security. with wpa psk tkip it just sticks @ connecting and never does. wpa psk aes is no go too. Did you have this problem too? never worked with wm5 either had to change router to no security to connect. Otherwise, it's working fine.

@imkbuster2u that's weird, my internet connection worked with that. maybe you should try another encryption, sometimes it works by me :)

I'm thinking of trying this myself. Which makuu version did you install? I'm looking at 5COB to try. I've never flashed before. I notice in the download of 5COB that there is a crc and nbo file, I know these are needed, but, there's also a folder labelled 5COB that has theme files in it. Do I also include this 5COB folder (along with the crc and nbo files) on the SD card that I'm going to use to flash my Axim with? Just want to be careful. If you have a makuu rom you prefer to 5COB let me know.

@imkbuster2u I used the ROM from this site: (look description)
I don't remember how i installed it because i've already sold this PDA, But i think you can put both the crc and nbo files with the 5COB folder on your SD card, just make sure that you've formatted the SD card.
I can't help you with the flashing itself, but i wish you luck!

No titanium its just ms default today plugin and can be turned off. To switch it off just go to start-settings-today-items and uncheck called "default" item from the list. You get more ram, stability and overall performance. If you replace standart menu by installing quickmenu you will get more ram etc. I hope I helped you. Ps. Soryy for my not perfect english
