@NoRefillsLeft Oops, forgot the original line-up also had the first live album, called "Live." :) This song is from that CD.

@NoRefillsLeft Albums during the Jim Malcolm period are: The World's Room; Fit?; The Gab o Mey; and Play Live. Search for OBD and the word "lowender" for a live performance with Jim Malcolm. Also check out anything by Jim Malcolm, he is wonderful, just him and his guitar. I've seen the original lineup, Jim Malcolm lineup and Jim Malcolm solo in concert several times, and they are all great. :) I've not seen the new lineup or bought their CDs, so can't comment on them.

@NoRefillsLeft Then Ian Benzie and Davy Cattanach left, and Jim Malcolm came in as main vocalist with, as I recall, a succession of percussionists. I adore Jim Malcolm and have several of his CDs, and I do like that lineup of OBDs, but I find I don't listen to their CDs nearly as much as the original line-up. Original lineup albums are: New Tricks; Close to the Bone; Tall Tails; Legacy; and Five. Sometime during what I think of as the Jim Malcolm period, Buzzby McMillan left the band.

@GalwaygirlEarle The original band members were (and are on this song): Ian F. Benzie, guitar/main vocals; "Buzzby" McMillan, bass/cittern/whistles/vocals; Davy Cattanach, percussion/vocals; "Jonny" Hardie, fiddle/cittern/mandolin/vocals
. They may play other instruments, this info is from the liner notes from the first "live" CD. Jonny Hardie is the only original member remaining. Search for OBD "Bennachie" and "LIVE - feat. Jonny Hardie" for live performances of the original line-up. -

This song brings many happy memories of OBDs in the Blue Lamp in Aberdeen. Man, some of the best nights I've ever had.
