Su Qi-Er retired from his life as a renowned Qing dynasty general in order to pursue his dream of a family and his own martial arts school. However, Su's peaceful life is shattered when his vengeful adopted brother, Yuan Lie, kidnaps his son and leaves Su for dead. Saved from his demise by his wife Ying and the reclusive doctor Yu, Su resolves to perfect his technique so that he may defeat Yuan Lie and reunite his family. Aided by the mystical "God of Wushu" and the eccentric "Old Sage," Su masters the art of Drunken Boxing, and embarks on the path that would eventually give rise to the legend of the "King of Beggars."

wel there is only a fuw reasons people keep disagreeing with eachother on here and wel everywhere els its taste and a difirent mind setting how u grew up and fear of change whats a good movie to me some1 els says its shit ore bad the reason people wil likly never see eye to eye but m stil hoping for it :)

odd movie this one, starts off like its gonna be some epic masterpiece then last half and hour is a complete loada bollox. i watch alot of asian movies especially martial arts but this was like i watched one for an hour and a half by a great director and then laurel and hardy took over and directed the last bit. other words was like watching bruce lee then along comes a clown called jackie chan...nuff said.
