I'm really surprised the train doesn't have the ability to automatically trigger a green light for itself at the at grade intersections. Also, are there no crossing arms to warn drivers and pedestrians that a train is coming?
-
It sure looks like people were beating down the doors to jump on.
-
i vote for crossing gates at ALL intersections for goldline and expoline.
-
awesome keep up the good work
-
Really, really, really different from the ones in San Diego
-
More trains, more buses, more riders, more density, more sense of community.
-
Once the regional connector gets built, the gold, expo, and blue lines will be heavily used. Trains will run more often and trains will be more crowded causing a greater demand for rail and bus service. At grade street running if or the trains should be avoided at all costs.

very interesting and we hope the liine can be exxtended byond Pasadina but I wonder if some will say why spend billions if the line is close to Metro Link transbut the thing is I thinkk for public transportation to be viable you hvave to have 30 minute service toget people out of there crsthis woud not be posible with a locom, tove hold train

Nice - Does this line follow any of the old Pacific Electric routes?

@JollyRodders Here and there. PE and Yellow Car routes as well as a long stretch of what was just a freight line.
