The first start up of my '72 Ford F100 in 5years.
The radiator fan, mount, hoses and belt are shot. Headers are shot. Brakes are shot. Carburetor needs rebuilt.

All of that will come in time. But for now, all that matters is that she runs.

I thought she was a gonner for sure.

  • @texasn90 Thanks man, I honestly have no idea what year anything on the truck is. It has 3 serial numbers: dash, door, and frame. None of them match. It also has a 289.

  • Jesus give this guy a break...He is tinkering and learning. Keep at it guy..I like your truck

  • @Paiste18 Thanks, man. We all gotta learn sometime! Currently this truck has a blown transmission but the engine is in driving condition.

  • u suck at this go get a ranger with an automatic i have both a 100 and 250 manual and can drive both just fine even with the parking brake on

  • I didn't even know how to drive a manual at the time. GTFO faggot.

  • @haloguru2552 do you have the FMX Cruisomatic 3 speed with overdrive automatic

  • Hell ya!

    I have a 72 myself.

    good for you!

  • just tackle those things man. my 68 had the same problems minus the fan and hoses, but i got it done in 3 days. i also had to redo some wiring.

  • @haloguru2552, with a engine that hasnt ran in that long the headers are going to smoke. They are going to burn off any oil that is on them, any old paint, dirt, grime, and anything else that is on there. After whatever is on them burns off then they will stop smoking.

  • Very nice truck man. She looks good and you seem to care for her a good deal. The only thing i noticed was that it has a 1970 grill and steering wheel, so i think that may be what you have, IF it is still as it came from the factory. What motor do you have in her?
