  • TBS and WGN showed this scene in their broadcasts in the 80's. However, the theaterical release and dvd release have omitted this scene.

  • @msmithstud Interesting. I never knew this scene had made it into a TV broadcast of the film. Do you know if any of the other deleted scenes were included?

  • these are deleted scenes? Funny, I was thinking I wanted to watch these films again.. haven't seen them in eons!

  • Yep, they're from the Greek tape, which has a couple of extra dialogue scenes as compared with the UK and US releases: I think the Greek release is supposed to have used a slightly earlier edit of the picture, and the scenes were probably taken out of the other releases of the movie by Winner himself, most likely for reasons of pacing.

  • Deleted scene? When I watched the movie it was included.

  • @lewisherschell the only broadcast that showed ''extra ''deleted scenes were on WGN. The dinner scene in this video was in other tv versions as i mentioned, but the WGN broadcast in the 80's showed some irrelevant extra footage. Probably 5 minutes worth. One scene included extra footage between Paul, Geri, and the doctor at the state hospital(nothing much). There was a scene of Paul at a site doing a survey and Geri comes to talk to him. I don't know if these scenes are included in the dvd.
