I'm a junior in High School, been playing football since i was 7 years old, This is my 9th season. Football has taught me the most important life skills anyone can have. Good heart, good attitude, the heart and mental toughness to push through obstacles most would deem impossible. Both my freshman year and Sophmore year the varsity went 0-8, this point in the season we're 5-3 and have 3rd seed in the playoffs cause we never gave up and we bought into the mentality that we could do itwe began 0-3

iv played for four years ha ill tell you one thing, as soon as you step foot on that grass your apart of a whole new family a family that will hold you high that wont let you quit on the hottest summer days when you feel like sitting down they will pick you up and tell you one more hour one more hour of this goddamn heat and then just then you will walk away knowing you gave it your all. you know football isn't a sport its a way of.

never playing this sport is easilt the biggest mistake of my life

What is football? Football is suicides in the brutal august sun. Football is the gallons of sweat lost on that goddamned peice of grass behind the school. Football is that gut wrenching feeling that tugs at you in Algebra as you wait for the bell to ring.
Football is the final kneeldown to finish a one point championship. And finally football is the brotherhood developed between a single football player to his teammates. the ones who push yo, and never let you quit. EVER

in November i jus finsished a epic season...proved the critiques wrong proved that 22 brothers on a team can do it as long as u believe good things will happen we went into the playoffs when no one else thought it could be done. we may of lost but all the games u remember. i hav my senior year left and it flew by so all those 8th graders becoming freshman enjoy every moment u have with the team because you blink and its your senior year and its almost ovr which sucks
u see, its the 2 a days you endure in 110 degree heat, its the time and effort put in the weight room. its every ounce of energy and power u put in practice and games. its the hurt of losing, and its the feel of victory. Its showing ur friends coaches and parents that you can do it. Thats football.
