Thanks. I recently tried it out with my scanner..though I used the quick scan so it wouldn't be TOO bright. ^^;;; iz fuuuun.

Nah not really. I've done that before also. Those old 80's xerox copiers typically just have a translucent backing to the plate you put the paper on. It's really no brighter than looking at a really bright florecent bulb.
