Crime novelist P. D. James' latest "whodunit" is
"A Certain Justice", which sees intrepid detective Adam Dalgliesh entering the world of the London legal community. P. D. James lists the ingredients of a good mystery and reveals how she constructs the characters in her novel, one example being lawyer Venetia Aldridge. (Originally aired February 1998).
She would have to be one of the greatest crime writers in the English language (after Sir Doyle and Dame Christie, of course).

This is wonderful. One of my favourite authors. And I learned so much!
