  • I was diagnosed 7th grade. Today actually they were telling me to consider homeschool. I can't make it through school but i don't think I could stay sane in home study. Any tips since it's either homeschool or wheelchair

  • @NeverShoutAlex19 i had to do homeschool when i was in high school too. it was really hard for me to accept, but i knew it was the only way i was going to graduate. what i found helped was going into the school for lunch hour a few times a week to get to see all my friends and hang out for a bit. if i hadn't done that i think i would have gone crazy. haha. good luck and i hope you're feeling better!

  • Do you know the website of the documentary, or the POTS website? I have just been diagnosed with POTS & none of the doctors know about it. I would like to go to doctors appointments armed with information.

  • @burkejr11 the website that sells the documentary is dinet. org!

  • well done shan!!!.... we need that to happen here in the UK.. im trying hard to raise awareness but doctors here in Derby are oblivious and ignorent when it comes to POTS...when i was in A&E last night for a head injury they asked if i have any illnesses I replied "POTS" he said.."whats that?!" ...its ridiculous how doctors in the emergency treating room do not know about this too. it's hard to raise awareness but one day it will be done!! :D for the better ..well done you hehe much love xx

  • I was diagnosed in grade 8 too. Two years after I started getting sick, mine was caused from Lyme Disease though.

  • you inspire me :) i also have pots.... :( you feel like no one cares after a while of not going to school and not being able to participate is regular activities for my age! I feel like I'm missing out on everything that it has pushed me to spread awareness and do what i can :) Visit my new youtube channel *potsgirl22* I will be doing weekly uploads of daily pots life and to raise awareness.

  • i have POTS too.

  • Brilliant video, 10/10 thanks for uploading this it's fantastic.

  • I live in Silicon Valley in Northern CA. When my 9 year old was hospitalized for falling and migraines we found out that her bp was low and her heart would race going from the sitting the standing position within 10 minutes. No one had any idea what was happening to her. They did MRI's, Cat scans, EKG's and couldn't figure it out. Then the doctor consulted a cardiologist from God. It was the right one at the right time and he said that he knew what it was and it was POTS. thx for ur video
