JNF Builds An Indoor Recreation Center In Sderot, Israel

Over the past few years, the Israeli community of Sderot has endured continual Kassam rocket attacks along the Gaza border. The aim of the terrorists is to force Sderots citizens to abandon their land. Some residents have left, but the majority
- over 20,000 - remains. A mother walking her child to school faces grave danger, and children cannot go beyond their front yards to play. JNF has found a way to truly make a major and lasting impact on the community, by developing an indoor supervised playground, exercise and recreation facility for children. This all-inclusive Indoor Recreational Center will provide Sderots youth with a place to have fun, connect with friends, enjoy stimulating classes, and be children, beyond the conflict.
