I thought those Lincs came with a limited slip rear axle.

@trankillodad I think you mean overdrive (4th gear) and NO the Mark IIIs have a C6 transmission and it has three forward speeds. no OD

Hey I have a 1969 mark 3 with stock eng and 3 speed auto trans. My question is that normally when the trans change to 3rd doz it have a cruising gear after 3rd

those engines were balanced and blueprinted from the factory for 69'... they're made to move.
